In general the staff were affable and pleasant...

We stayed at Hostal Acella during San Femin 2011. It was a bit of a walk from the city center- probably about 15 minutes (when you dont get lost!) The staff was very helpful and very prepared for all of the questions regarding San Fermin. If you are just looking for a good place to rest during the festival, I would definitely recommend Hostal Acella. Also, just a short taxi ride from the bus station if you are taking a bus in from out of town and about a 15 minute city bus ride to the train station.

The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed, which made us happy. Also, the location in the heart of Madrid was very convenient.

the rooms were really quaint and sweet, and very clean with friendly housekeeping staff and desk staff...gave great information...was there for san fermin, and was surprised to find the place so nice, comfy and clean...not that i slept in it much...
It was really quite expensive (€95 per night was way out of my budget even for san fermin)...and was a fair walk out of the city...though great bus service to get you in if youre willing to pay the euro or so!!

It was one of the few places available at the last minute with a reasonable price for San Fermin. Facilities were generally good with wifi in the room. Quiet during San Fermin was a plus! Reasonably close to the old town (about 15 minutes walk).
There was some mould in the bathroom. Few of the reception staff spoke any English, but were able to more than make it up with patience and friendliness.

We had a great stay at Hostal Acella. The location was convenient, with restaurants and stores nearby. The room was clean and tidy. The staff at the reception was very helpful, especially when we arrived late at night. We appreciated their assistance. The hotel was also far enough from the festival grounds to ensure a quiet night's sleep, but still within walking distance. we had a pleasant experience at this hotel.
There were a couple of minor inconveniences during our stay. It would have been nice to have a mirror in the bedroom, as the only one was in the bathroom.

The hotel was a characterful base for enjoying a great area, right by a nice park, with lots of dining options nearby and public transport as well as San Fermin festival. The staff was nice and pleasant, they blew my mind. Here I spent 1 night and truly enjoyed being in this place.

This hotel is excellent value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location in a residential area is ideal, as it is close to a lovely park, the university area that we were visiting, and the train station. The staff provided great service and the rooms had all the necessary amenities, making for a comfortable stay. Although breakfast was not included, it did not detract from the overall experience.
No major improvements needed, all was satisfactory.

We stayed here for San Fermin festival (Running of the Bulls). It was in walking distance to all the action - maybe 10-15min. It is also only 5min walk to a Walmart/ Big W meets Woolworth store where you can buy the outfit - white top, pants, shoes with red scarf & belt for heaps cheaper than anywhere else (even than Barcelona). Although we paid premium ($300 Australian which is $200 Euro a night) the room was a sofa bed in an incredibly tiny room. It didn't have a fridge or kettle. Was great to be in Pamplona but this was so overpriced & the most basic accommodation for the most expensive price.

Was ok just a bit of a walk into town
Communication was a little difficult we had motorcycles parked in a garage and getting a key was hard work

Convenient location near park, dining options and public transport. Late check-in option with helpful staff. Pet-friendly without extra charge. Comfortable beds and clean facilities.
Can't think of anything.
